What is different in a real one

Three sections cannot appear in a sample, because they do not exist until someone takes the analysis. They are not held back as an upsell — the first of them is free:

Your face draped against all twelve palettes: Your face is cut out of its background and shown against every palette side by side — the nearest a browser gets to the fabric test an analyst does under your chin. You see this one free, before you pay anything.
All twelve seasons scored against your reading: Not just your season: every season ranked, with a chart showing where each one sits relative to you on all three axes — so you can see which came close, and which axis is the reason a season lost.

The capsule wardrobe

Add four tops or knits in salmon, soft terracotta, muted rust and warm rose beige. These sit near the face, which is where colour does almost all of its work.

Is this the real report, or a cut-down preview?

It is the real thing, rendered from the same data as a purchased report, with nothing removed and nothing added. The only difference is that it is Soft Autumn rather than your season, and it is missing the three personalised sections — the draping view, the twelve-season ranking against your own reading, and the swatches measured from your photo — because those do not exist until someone takes the analysis. Those three are described above so the sample neither oversells nor undersells what you get.

Why show the whole thing away for free?

Because the alternative is asking you to pay $19 to a site you have never heard of for something you cannot see. Showing one season in full costs us very little — the palettes are already public on the twelve season pages — and it means nobody buys this on a hopeful guess about what is inside.

What if I buy it and my season turns out to be wrong?

Reply to your receipt and it is refunded, within 30 days, with no form and nothing to justify. Colour analysis is a framework rather than a science with one right answer, and being borderline between two neighbouring seasons is common — which is why the result always shows you the runner-up and the size of the gap instead of a single confident verdict.

How is this different from just reading the Soft Autumn page?

The Soft Autumn page and its sub-pages cover the palette, the celebrities, the hair and makeup recommendations, and they are free and will stay free. What the report adds is that it is about you: your measured position on the three axes, your confidence score, your runner-up, your face against the palettes, and a capsule plan built on your two best neutrals rather than the season's generic ones.
