Here the questions personalize the report; the season comes from the photo. How accurate is a color analysis quiz?
A questionnaire alone is a guess, because people misjudge their own undertone and contrast. This quiz reads the season from the photo, not from the answers: depth and contrast measure reliably, and undertone, the axis a camera distorts most, is corrected against the whites of your eyes and capped in how far lighting can move it. It is good, not perfect, which is why the runner-up and the gap are always shown. An in-person session with fabric drapes remains the gold standard, at $150–$500.
How long does the color analysis quiz take?
About two minutes: seven quick questions, one photo, and a short analysis you can watch. Your answers save as you go, so you can close the tab and come back.
Do I need to upload a photo?
You need a photo, but nothing is uploaded. Take one with your camera in the browser or choose an existing file; either way it is measured on your own device and discarded straight after. There is no upload endpoint on this site. A small cut-out of your face stays in your browser session so the result can show it, and is erased when you close the tab.
What kind of photo works best?
Daylight from a window, no filter, no makeup, face to the camera, hair off the forehead. Avoid warm indoor lamps: they push every face toward warm, which is exactly the signal the quiz is trying to read. A second photo in different light sharpens the result more than any extra question would.
What if I am between two seasons?
Then you will see it. The result shows the runner-up and the size of the gap rather than rounding it into false confidence, and the comparison pages explain what separates any two neighboring seasons. Being between two neighbors is common and is not a failure of the system.
Can my color season change?
Your undertone does not change, so your temperature reading stays put. Depth and contrast can move: hair grays or is dyed, skin lightens with less sun. That can shift you within your family, a Deep Winter drifting toward True Winter, for example, but rarely across it.
